recirculating DWC construction

Recommended Posts

I will be starting my first hydro grow within 2 months. lotsa lurking and learning over the past 3 months..

I plan on having four 25L containers in one square metre.

one plant per container.

A 1900L/hr airpump with four outlets for the four containers.

A 600Watt HPS light.

A 150mm centrifugal fan with odour sok.

I need to know the size my controller bucket should be relative to individual bucket size...if possible

is there a formula?... like there is for water resevoir (water reservoir should be same as total system capacity)... the range I am thinking of at moment for controller bucket is from 25L to 100L....

any comments appreciated.. I have been thinking about controller bucket size for days..cant make up my mind..

p.s. the grow diary I said was coming may not be..due to my primitive computer/digital camera skills...however I will definetly be doing one for my first Hydro!!(current grow is growing some mums so I can have female clones for the bubbler SCROG I have planned)... man I luv this shit!!! all of it!!! the growing..the choofing...the planning to grow!!..sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet as!!

Hey hippy sounds like a decent plan bro.

With regards to your control bucket it should ideally be the same size as your other buckets but attached (via a float valve same as your dunny or an electric one if you wanna go high-tech) to the control bucket you can have a rezzy that can be any size. If control not same size it at least needs to be at same height as water level an gravity drainage is key in re-circ.

I did a tute with quite a few pics might be worth a look.

re-circ tute

peace
