Check out this link and have a look at the pictures for magnesium deficiency among others, if it is mg deficiency wait on someone else confirming the measure of Epsom salts, I think it should only be a teaspoon per gallon and a US gallon (3.8ltr?) is smaller than the old imperial gallon (4.5ltr).

Hey Tom, apparently using epsom salts isn't the best way to improve Mg deficiancy, I know I read the same thing on op overgrow, but not long after the same grower who recommended using epsom salts reposted advising that he wasn't recommending using it anymore as, if I remember correctly, it locks out other nutes. sorry can't remember what he ended up recommending though. Yeah, maybe some of the other growers here can throw some light on the subject, Yam9000Studio needs to check the picture and let us know yet though.

One of my younger mothers started to get the rust like spots on the top leaves and the leaves started to cup and turn brittle.

There were two reasons for this, The first was that I was trialing GH nutes which lack enough Mg and the other was that I had the plant under the 600 watt HPS with an older mother.

The solution was to add 1/4 teaspoon of epsom salts for each 4 litres of nutrient and put the plant back under a 250 MH because the plant being in the earlier stages of veg didnt have enough root system to supply the plants needs and the light was drying out the top growth.

Three days later it was back to normal

I looked at the pics of the sick plants (thx Tom) It is defently Nute burn. I spray the plant with nitrosol and then put it back under the 400w HPS. i've now been told this is very wrong.

Does this sound right guys?

I have a pic of one of the leaves but it's really small. ( the pic i mean) i'll post it anyway

As your plants are now into the flowering stage you should stop the foliar spraying, also they do not need any more nitrogen boosting as they are no longer in the veg stage, leave the Nitrosol for the next grow and check out some bloom boosters.
