Yellowing leaves

Recommended Posts

post-6239-1181027456_thumb.jpgHi team,

I popped some Celtic Stone seeds (my last) about 2 weeks ago in soil with fluro lighting. 2 days ago I transplanted them into perlite for an autopot system and put under HPS 400W. PH is 6, nutes are Dutch Master. No signs of any insects......but the leaves are starting to look awful! ANy ideas? CHeers.

 How strong are the nutes, it looks like nute burn to me. Maby lift the ph to 6.5 in case it is a ph prob but I dont think so. Another thing is that maby there has been water on the leaves. It can act like a magifying glass sometimes and harm young seedlings.

:xcited: Peace MongyMan

Thanks. The nutes are about 80% strength. I am always scared to go full strength. I might have poured some nute solution over the leaves......maybe that was it...but it seems to be over all 4 seedlings and they did not all get wet....

i did have lights on 24 x 7...maybe I need to give them a rest.

Cheers

well im guessing thats the first 1 finger leaf.. so it will be dead soon anyways.. but to me it looks like you've spilled something on it.. i wouldn't worry.. trim them off promote the growth to the new shoots... the plant will handle full strength nutes.. but you've got to give the medium a bit of a flush through with clean water.. once a week.. or every few waters .. just give it water...

do like WDC has suggested and start it on fresh nutes..

Thanks for all the help guys! I rechecked the pH and it was below 6....interesting story....last grow I just pulled water straight from my fish tank....full of nitrates....and pH of 6.4....anyway, the pH of the tank has decreased in last 9 months!

ANyway, a few flushes later and I am seeing a nice rebound....thanks again!
