When can i jar my buds ?

Recommended Posts

hi..........

ok ive had my crown heads hanging upside down for about a week and a half.........They felt crisp on the outside but were obviously still not completely dry in the middle.........

I then put them in paper bags for another week................

felt a little dryer than before, but could still feel they werent 100% dry in the middle............

Example , some of the leaf stems hat are still attached to the buds DONT snap off....they just bend without snapping

so even though they feel quite crisp on the outside, they arent completely dry yet as the leaf stems arent snapping off.........

Cani jar them now, or should i wait longer ?

cheers

Jasonwr6000,

Wait longer. These critters look dry and sometimes even feel dry, but don't trust 'em. Not one little bit! Even after you've got the buggers in storage keep checking on the regularly.

And it goes without saying to ensure that everything is as clean as possible to reduce the incidence of mould.

putting them in a jar for a couple of hours will make the moisture from the middle get sucked out into the outer edges of the bud which are crispy atm. all you then need to do is pull the buds out, wait until they are crisp again and then repeat until such times as they are crisp when pulled out of the jar :scratchin:

but be warned that if you are not carefeful you could be providing a mould heaven
