Do you think Cannabis is addictive

Recommended Posts

in my experience.. NO , CANNABIS is not ADDICTIVE.. it's more like you want to enjoy it again.. but you haven't got any , it just passes.. there's not a serious withdrawal.

caffiene , nicotine , painkillers . alcohol .. plus many others are quite the trial giving up.

Interesting reply considering your post in this thread...

Far from a health professional, but I`d call these statements conflicting at least.

School holidays I guess...

EDIT: just reread that 1st line in your post above...and upon reflection, NO, I didnt have an addiction to speed as a young bloke...I just liked the smell :faint:

Has been interesting to go thru all these posts. I have to admit to worrying about my "hanging out" for a smoke, spending money I didn't have, borrowing $$ for a bag etc but then I'd come back to earth when I realised that I spend too much when I'm in a bad way health wise & it's the ONLY thing that helps by taking my mind off the fact that I feel like shit & hurt like hell! Medications didn't work as well, clashed with others & caused more probs with other issues like being given pills for nausea that can cause seizures when you suffer from seizures! Who'd want to trust a doctor!

I do go without all the time, I'm down to 1 bag a fortnight but then I'm feeling OK health wise atm. That's not to say I wouldn't love to have more of course ;)

Must admit tho when I have it I smoke it & smoke it (cone after cone) until it's gone and THAT concerns me but only because I can't get off my arse & attend to things! lol lol .

For those who have anger issues, pot may calm that some but it won't cure it and excessive anger really needs to be reigned in for your sake.

Maybe some anger management program might be the go there. Don't scoff, they can give you a lot of very good tips and alternatives on how to deal with it. You can go into these things with the attitude that it's stupid & a waste of time or you can look and say, alright, maybe they can help -may as well take a look. You don't know until you try it....bit like trying different strains eh? An addiction program sure helped me with my drinking and I don't even know how, I just backed right off with it...rarely drink now. I wanted control over it, didn't want to stop & control I have with both pot & booze. Dunno if I'll have all that control when I grow my own tho

Bugga! Now I want a toke! :(
