Girrawheen raid

Police have carried out a significant drug bust in Girrawheen, allegedly seizing cannabis, cannabis plants, ammunition and smoking implements.

 

A 29-year-old man has been charged with drug offences after officers from the Inglewood Inquiry Team raided a house in Sparks Court yesterday afternoon.

 

Police claim to have found 28.5 grams of cannabis and four rounds of ammunition along with the smoking implements.

 

A search of the property's back shed allegedly revealed 16 cannabis plants in two separate hydroponic assemblies.

 

The 29-year-old has been charged with cultivating a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, possessing a prohibited drug, two counts of possessing a smoking implement and possessing utensils for preparation of a prohibited drug.

 

He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.

 

A 28-year-old man will also be summonsed to appear in court on a charge of possessing unlicensed ammunition.

Bloody hell its nothing more than a minor bust 28.5 gms of bud/leaf and 2 X 8 plant set ups ,it's not even news worthy.

 

I got done with way more than this (over a decade ago) and did not cop gaol (thank the gods) and a dude I know got done with a similar amount of plants to me around the time I got done in a green house and was fined $250 thats it-nothing else but in this INSANE climate of "Reefer Madness" who knows ? Maybe 5-7 years away even , what a joke.

 

I think you might remember this TOM a couple of months back I think it was on Ch9 a "real life" Aussie "Law&Order and a middle age Melbourne woman with a set up with 12 plants copped a year !

I'd guess that the cops are just trying to put one of the local dealers out of business.

I think you might remember this TOM a couple of months back I think it was on Ch9 a "real life" Aussie "Law&Order and a middle age Melbourne woman with a set up with 12 plants copped a year !

 

I saw this and I can truly say it got me worried. I got done with double that (Outdoor) and the judge ended up giving me $1000 fine and told me that I had to come back in 2 years with 6 clean drug test's, I didn't even get one and now I have to face him in one month

 

I really hope the judge doesn't decide to do anything drastic, but I stand by not quiting ganja there not scaring me in to complaisance
