Cops give a drug test to soap shows positive for GHB ?

Modern life: Drug rap doesn't wash

 

This story is so odd, we have to tell it straight. The Los Angeles Times reports that last week police stopped Don Bolles, the drummer with the punk band the Germs, on his way to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. His van had a broken tail-light. Inside the van, police say, they found "a toiletry kit containing denture glue, razors and a bottle of Dr Bronner's Magic Soap (peppermint fragrance)".

 

A field test of the liquid soap allegedly indicated it contained GHB, a date-rape drug. Bolles was arrested for felony narcotics possession.

 

The soap company's chief executive, David Bronner, heard of the arrest and hired Bruce Margolin, a lawyer who specialises in marijuana cases, to represent the musician, who has been released on bail. Bronner said the idea of finding GHB in his product is "beyond belief" (although it does contain hemp oil)."The field test must have been flawed or tampered with."

 

Bolles, a former heroin addict, says the charge is absurd. "A date rape drug is the last thing I need. If anything, I need a way to keep the girls off of me. They make my girlfriend mad."

what happens when a copper doesnt understand how to use the tester.

 

 

probally tested positive to weed but the copper was colour blind. maby there is a comission or able to sell the story If a date rape drug was found on a muscian.. sounds very ODd in deed hope my bottle of coke dont get me in trouble.. How about if we do random drug tests on officers at home or work to show there as human and dangerouse as the rest of us..

 

we get drug drive tests here in my state within 6 months dont know how it will go but i ssuspect ill be loosing my licence again $$$$ and forced to do rehab for my killer skunk habit that ruins the comunity.
