Cyrogenic clones

Recommended Posts

Since i dont know of any person who has tried this, nor has anyone said its impossible, i decided to freeze a cutting :toke: there is no real point to this experiment other than to see if the clone survives or not and since i have more than enough cuttings atm, losing one wont hurt a bit :toke:

anyways, here is a pic, will put up another in a week or so and then if it hasnt already died, i'll pull the cutting out and see if it is possible to nurse it back to health  btw, if you look at the freezer door you can see it decided to nibble at a leaf so if the cutting manages to survive, it will be amazing :freak:

seems like i have peaked a little interest in the chat room about this experiment, only problem was there were too many ideas going around not enough space or cuttings  anyways, i added 3 more cuttings to the experiment...2 are in a plastic snap lock bag and are unrooted, the last is a rooted cutting and is also in a snap lock bag. to keep the experiment fair i have only used skunk #1 cuttings although the general concencious is that all the clones are gonna die anyway :toke:

here is the latest pic and take note of the cutting out in the open, it looks FUCKED!!! since it warmed up a tiny bit, have a look at the first pic for a comparison and that only happened in about 30 seconds from when i opened the freezer door :freak:

well the rooted cutting in the bag fell out of the freezer when my mrs opened the door, sadly it smashed to bits :toke: the other rooted cutting looks like shit and is also frozen to a loaf of bread, but it still might pull through :ack:

amazingly though, the unrooted cuttings look as good as when i put them in there :freak: if they root it will not only shock the living shit out of me, i'll probably end up taking a 100 cuttings at a time and freezing them for later use  that sure would save heaps of time, money and effort in regards to keeping mothers alive + could act as a back up in the event a strain dies off in the grow room :toke:

I'll definately give the fridge a go soon, i just have to wait for more cuttings to root so i dont mess up and lose any strains lol
