hrm yup - turns out phosphate is an issue here in WA, because rich ppl living on the Swan River let too much lawn fertilizer leach into the river, causing algae blooms -> oxygen depletion -> dead fish etc. The previous govt set new regulations on how much phosphate a fertilizer can have, so it seems i can't order any superphosphate or mono/diammonium phosphate etc, poo!  although i know there are some products like Natures Own Guano (1-9-1) which is hydro-friendly and of course PK13-14, the latter of which at least has a 5yr shelf life according to Canna website so might have to go that route for the P, a 1L bottle would last years with our tiny setup
