CFM... is cubic feet per minute.. it relates to how much air the fan will move... now I would say you would want to change the air in your grow room about 1-2 times a minute... so... work out the size of the grow space.. ie.. 4'x4'x 8' would give you about 24 cubic fet of grow space.. so a fan shifting 50 cubic feet per minute... now if you are running ducting.. with a carbon fitler... the filter would probably put about %50 resistance on the fan motor.. cutting your fan speed by about half.. so you would opt for a fan shifting 75-100cfm... or greater.. I certainly wouldnt be going below that...

PS... if we have a member that knows more about carbon filters and the resistance on the fan loads please post the info.. I think its pretty important so as not to get caught out buying a fan that wont do the job...

Yea billo i dont know too much here, but im curious .. do you mean you need a fan that moves 65 cubic feet per minute ..

some of the fan makers (Allvent) market thier fans according to thier cfm or lites per second ability .. like allvent 100mm inline fan rated@ 33 lps

this helps ; 1 litre per second = 2.118 88 cu ft/ minute ...
