Grow Wardrobe - Fans needed?

Recommended Posts

ok.. theres no need to go stoopid.. youve only got 2footX2foot of grow space...or there abouts... a 400 will be way too much for that space.. as my wardrobe is the size of nuggets and im pushing 50watts per foot with my 400.. yours will be somewhere around the 100.. which is stoopidly rediculas.. and not needed...

a 250 will be a better option for that space... you'll still be around the 60watts per foot.. which is fucking heaps... :scratchin: trust me...

personally id be looking for a bigger wardrobe and going for the 400...

now for you're ventilation... figure out what you need to ventilate.. is this the only chamber.. no other clone box, mother room, or what ever... if its just the wardrobe space you need to vent.. then a 150mm inline fan with a simple home made carbon filter will be shit loads... this sort of set up will do a wardrobe with a 400 in it easily... as well

if you wish to ad other rooms in the future to the grow space, like a mother room, a separate flower room.. then you'll be better off venting the whole room with a bigger fan and filter like jimbo recommends... a 250 centrifugal fan with a 400/1000 carbon filter will do a grow space of around 2mx2m.. or there abouts... and then just using normal bathroom fans and vent the growroom into the room and let the centrifugal fan to vent the spare room...

if you look around the site Stoney's done a great tute on a home made filter he made for his grow... might pay to ask him how it works.. I reckon any chance he gets he loves to brag about it.... :peace:
