help sexing and seed question

Hi guys can any one tell me the sex of this pic?or is it to soon,also i am using a sony dsc s60 digital but am having a hard time taking closeups,i had to put a magnifing glass in front of lens for this pic.it is a cyber shot 4.1 pixel,any help doing closeups would be greatly appreciated.where is the best place to store seeds ,i heard the fridge,is that correct?thanks for anyhelp you can give me...

A lil hard to tell if it male or female at this point, have u turned to 12/12 as yet and if so how long have they been 12/12 ?

 

And yes one of the best placers to keep ya seeds is in the cold storage, some ppl freeze them and some just keep them in the fridge, but keep them in air tight ccontainer and they will last a few years...

Thanks oz,i have been 12 12 for only three days,i am under a florals,i have my better plants under my 400 mh,the one i showed in this pic is bagseed,my others are sk#1 and bb.

Too early to tell mate. Assuming she's a female then after about 7-12 days of 12/12 (usually ~10) you'll be asking yourself "is that a little white pistil hair I see?" - the next night you'll know for sure. Males show their balls a couple days earlier than females show their pistils

The plant looks pretty mature to me. At least 3 weeks or older. And i dont see any balls. So i would be happy to bet its female. The males will show first.

It doesnt matter how long you have had it on 12/12. What matters is how old the plant is from seed. You should see male preflowers at 3 weeks+ and females arround the same time or later. Its its older than a month i will bet my left nut its a female

Unless the variety auto flowers (which is really rare) then it will take 1 or 2 weeks after turning your lights to12/12 to show its' sex like Dave says. Most varieties wont flower unless you reduce the light to 12 hrs. If you grow outdoors plants will go from September to about February before you know the sex. They do this because the day length is decreasing as Winter approaches. Most varieties never show signs of pre-flower in my experience.

IMHO that dosent give u much of an idear if it male or female, true u have to let a plant mature a lil bit from seed but even after it has had time to mature before sexing it is very hard to tell a male from a female until the light times start to fall and the plant will then know if it will be boy or girl, male will show before the female, if i am wrong i sure i will be corrected i am sure of that...

Well Ive got 4 that are @15 days in 12/12. 51 days from seed,...That arent showing at all.1 out of the 5 has been showing pistils for about 5 days now.

They all appear to have the makings of preflowers,and alternating nodes for a week or so.....bt no hairs.

Plenty of smell when you touch em' and even has trichomes(theyve had em since birth...Yep Im sure they are trichs)

 

Is it normal to have plants go this long without showing balls or pistils??

 

The strain is undetermined, but appears sativa dominant based on leaf structure.

I dont have a good enough cam for a pic..So any ideas?
