A DEADLY new type of cannabis called grit weed is sweeping Britain.

 

Callous dealers add tiny beads of glass to the drug to increase its weight and bump up the price.

 

But regular inhalation can cause the fatal lung disease silicosis - similar to asbestosis.

 

The silicon comes from industrial sprays used for frosting glass or from reflective paint used on road lines.

 

Grit weed began to appear on the streets at Christmas after a spate of police raids on cannabis growers hit supplies.

 

The pressure group UK Cannabis Internet Activists - who want pot to be legalised - said: "The Government must run a high-profile campaign about the dangers of contaminated cannabis."

 

The Department of Health said police had been informed about the lethal new drug and could now alert the public.

and as for the previous about dozy poms....you're just pissed off that we can be in amsterdam in 40 minutes for less than $50.

 

anyway, some fucker is putting this stuff out. most arrives from amsterdam and i've also heard of it coming from spain. the uk is very short of good cannabis and has been since last august. lots of growhouses run by vietnamese getting busted and as for hash - there has been nothing but soapbar for years. (look it up, 1 part cannabis, 9 parts poison).

anyone who cares grows their own and makes their own hash if that's their taste. amsterdam is for a weekend away and to try some different strains but the stuff we grow is as good (if not better since some amsterdam weed gets shaken before it's sold to tourists). we're alot closer to some sort of legalisation than we've ever been and we're closer to the truth than you guys i'm afraid. you've only got to listen to your poison dwarf howard and his crew and realise that big Rupe feeds you your misinformation to know that the truth might be out there but the press won't be reporting it.

Correct BB, Pomm (aka Pome, Pommy) is a racial stereotype just like Yank (aka Yankie, Seppo). Mostly only used during times of international conflict (cricket, war in Iraq, etc..)

you poms have had low grade weed for a while now. Odd cause your only $50 dollars away from decent bud. Your soap bar is an english thing as far as i know we dont get lame hash like that.

 

Im atleast 12hours or $1200 away from holland but dont need to travel there to get good weed, Here Quality is good and clean 95% of the time a few seeds in a deal is about as bad as it gets..

 

All this shake tric removal, soap, now grit only hurts the cause now for the first time there is actually weed out there that is deadly.
