CO2 - Is it needed? Is it a hassle?

Recommended Posts

if you plan on using CO2 i suggest using special equipment designed for controlling the fan and CO2 u wont need it to control the fans but it will constantly measre the amount of CO2 in the grow and shut off the CO2 at the tank via the solanoid valve when ever the levels get to high u can also hook up a timer that will shut off the valve when the lights turn off so CO2 wont be released thru the dark period the other option is to have the hose running from the CO2 tank down to the air inlet and run it when your lights are on and have the solanoid shut off the valve when the lights turn off this might be a little more tricky and u will have to work out how many bubbles per minute/hour is needed to bring the CO2 up to 1500PPM
