planting by the moon

ive been looking on the net for infomation on how to plant by the moon but cant find much info when growing marijuana.so if anybody dose this or knows where to find easy to understand info on this subject i'd really like to find out more .thanks.happy herb.

"They" say that if you plant at full moon, and harvest at full moon too, it should have some effects on your plants. I have no idea about the details of all this, maybe you find more info on this with them macrobiotic people who also seem to give some value on harvesting at full moon. Me I dunno... never did, never will also, for me there's way too much "cult' things around cannabis. In my opinion it's a usefull plant like any other usefull plant we know of, not more or less then letuce or potatos, really, it just has other use.

I also hear of "ritual dances" according to harvesting, how far can you take it, haha.

Dunno what state ya in but in SA we have "Keith Martyn's 2003 South Australian Almanac" which gives details of best planting times for different crops etc (not specifically for dope tho!) & other info like tide times etc. You would probly have one in your state too, you often see them in newsagents especially early in the year.

Otherwise I hear dancing naked round the planting site with 12 virgins at full moon with blue woad painted genitals does the trick nicely!

(Hmm wonder if this applies to indoors too)

best dates to sow fruiting annuals for 2003 are.....2:30am on 9th August till 5:25am on 11th August.

7:50am on 5th sept to 12:15pm on 7th sept.

7th, 8th, 9th of October.

best time for leafy annuals are....30th Aug to 3rd sept.

27 sept to 30th sept. oct 26th and 27th, then oct 30 and 31.

transplant seedlings 1st or 2nd quarter of moon,with moon in fertile star sign for best results.water in 'water' signs for best water results.

fertilizing.....foliar or soluble, apply during 'waxing' moon.

organic manures on 'waning' moon.

harvest on the waning moon with moon in dry, star sign.

yea thanks for that i had found some of that info but you gave me a couple of new bits of info.so has any one tryed this im not gona go out of my way to try it (one day)people swear by it .i can see the reasons why it could work better its all about getting the most from your crop and it cant hurt so its worth a try .but then you have to know the strain to see if it works and then there are other factors changing each grow so it would be hard to tell unless there was a huge change in growth .but getting vergins to sacrafice and all the blood is sort of putting me of and if its a cold night i'll have to wear cloths and it's just not gona work. .happy herb.
