well it appears that this legislation is not yet effective, or is being ignored. Was in Off Ya Tree in Brisbane today and the full range of bongs were on display for sale.

I agree pipe, they're still available in some places up here on the fraser coast aswell

Yeh , It will take a very long time to try and eradicate all the bongs for sale in any state I would imagine , as there are so many niche places that stock them ..

If they really start crackin down with this law tho , It will just push it to a more "Underground" level .. There are already heaps of small time bong manufacturers who work from home etc , Most people would have seen their wares at the markets and similar ..

 

And ofc , They will never stop online trading .. so there is little to worry about for the forseeable future of Bongs and Pipes Imho

Could get into a few more points about that discussion , but I reckon I'll just say that - I think It is people that is the problem , not "Drugs".

 

But whats been bugging me lately too , is all the words being so casually tossed around these days .. User , Abuser , Dependance , Addict ... Social Drugs , Party Drugs , Hard Drugs , Hydro , Organic ... etc etc ..

They are all such loose descriptive terms , and Imo Badly defined ..

 

And anyway , the whole Meth Hype BS around atm pisses me off , reminds me of the supposed Heroin Epedemic of previous times ..

 

I propose its not as bad as it seems and Its just the sensationalized Media Hype and Government Scare tactics that seems to get thrown at us more and more each passing year ..

(Though I don't deny It seems like a nasty drug to get hooked on and is a problem , but then So is Booze and Ciggies)

 

Anyway , that will do for now , I sorta forget where I was going with this
