Can clones be placed immediately under a HPS light and can they be fed via a recirculating system?

Sure, as long as the light is far enough away from the clones to prevent drying them out.

under a fluro would be a way better option as a hps will dry them out fairly quickly and can they be fed by a recurculating system well maybe but ya dont want the grow cubes too wet as this will slow the rooting process so maybe a drip system set to very slowly drip may do it

at first you'll need to keep the light pretty far away, especially if you only have a 600w hps like you have mentioned under your avatar but after a week or so when it finally has a decent root ball you can lower the light and get the clones growing like crazy

the best way to root clones is to do it in the same light and conditions as the mother plant I have found. ie just root them in the same growspace as whatever plant you took the cutting off. keep em moist but not soaking wet. hard to fuck up really

hey jimbo in answer to your question once they are well rooted yeah stick em under the HPS they will get a helluva quicker jump start than from fluros. just start the light high and gradually lower each day.
