POLICE have seized a large cannabis crop on the NSW mid north coast worth an estimated $4.2 million.

More than 2000 plants were seized in police raids yesterday.

Mid North Coast police and the State Crime Commands Plantation Unit identified several plantations within the Kumbatine National Park as part of Operation Daglish.

Police allege a large commercial cultivation of cannabis had been undertaken in the park.

The crop has been destroyed and police inquiries are continuing.
