Where to buy a bong?

I've just moved to Australia for a year of Uni. I'm living in N. Wollongong and was wondering if anyone could recommend a shop to buy a glass bong from. (I'm not a fan of online buying... but will if I have to). Also can I buy papers anywhere that cigarettes are sold?

 

I don't mind travelling to Sydney if need be to purchase, please let me know if there are any good shops in Wollongong or Sydney that I should check out.

 

Also - I was just wondering if anyone can update me on the market here. I'm from Canada and I usually buy half an ounze (14 grams) at a time ($80-100 CDN) or a full (28g) for ($160-$180). What's the weight scale used here and what are decent prices like, just so I don't get myself screwed? Thanks.

Don't know about the current prices of mj in NSW but the best place to buy a bong is through the shop here, just click on the "Shop" link underneath the banner ad at the top of the page.

average prices you can expect to pay are:

1/4 oz = $90

1/2 oz = $160

1 oz = $300

 

that depends a lot on availability, quality and wether your dealer is a scummy cunt or not

 

imo the best place to buy bongs would be your local hydro shop or tobacconist...chances are they'll have one you'll want to buy and if you cant find one in person, i would order from the OSA shop like tom suggested

 

oh and if you want rolling papers, best place to get them is any supermarket

nah ive had a look around wollongong and i havent found a bong yet, but go to one of the tobacconists in like port kembla or warrawong and ull be able to buy a pipe there.

 

if ya do want a bong, ive heard that a fair few places in syd have em, just gonna have to have a look

 

anyway hit up o-week at uni, its fuckin sick

buying from an online shop would be the cheapest option probably but since you said you'd prefer not to do that most tobacco/smoke shops sell bongs and as someone else mentioned porn shops have them as well. they are sold pretty openly in shops all round australia.

 

I think there is a law in NSW that bongs aren't allowed to be put on display for sale so just because you can't see em don't mean they're not there to be sold so sometimes you might have to ask the question.

OR play it SAFE and buy one through the site as Tom mentioned. It is by far the safest method. If I was looking for a bong, I would buy one through the ozstoners shop.

yeah buying a bong from a shop can be pretty dangerous. mate of mine lost an eye trying that shit once. Its not as easy as it sounds. also if you pull the notes out of your wallet too fast you could get a very nasty paper cut.
