Police find 7000 cannabis plants in house

POLICE have found up to 7000 cannabis plants estimated to be worth millions of dollars on a south-east Queensland property.

Two men and a woman were assisting police with their inquiries after police searched the Biggenden property, west of Maryborough, and found the large crop about 9am (AEST) today, a police spokeswoman said.

was this the same one?

Sorry but yeh I have no tears for growers of this magnitude that get busted as I have said before these are the ones that give us the bad name and will help in it remaining illegal

Busting these guys over some poor sod growing as he cant afford the dealers rates is my preffered option Everytime.

:toke:

I agree with that ... 7000 plants is way overkill , a very valuable risk either way.

If It weren't for the pigz busting small time growers and dealers all the time (supply and demand will always be there) there wouldn't be such an incentive for largescale commercial growers who are only concerned about the mighty dollar to grow these massive crops.

But realistically , that seems to be what the controlling powers-that-be want , because they also make massive revenue from all this .. not too mention helping to support their anti-citizen war ..

And I don't think It's just the Police who fiddle with the numbers either .. I reckon the news media does its fair share of fantasy-based number bending also.

$25000 a plant? :peace: nice one .. absolute Bullshittery.

I even doubt the number of plants allegedly found these days aswell ... 7000? .. c'mon now really?? .. exactly 7000? heheheh .. Who counted em? - bet that was difficult ..

Also , say each plant only had a square metre of space ... That's 7000 square metres , alot of area to keep hidden

Well anyway , I'm more pissed off at the laws for making these type of commercial crops viable to people who make tonnes of money off the less fortunate ..

If every Stoner could grow their own and be self sufficient I beleive that most would , and that would dramatically decrease the monetary value whilst most likely increasing the quality of the product that is sold.

Still , gotta respect those guyz for all the effort ... 7000 plants would be no easy task to take care of .. Hopefully they don't cop it too harshly.

Stay safe :)

Budman ;)

Absolutely excellent post, Budman.

I agree that prohibition targeting small-time growers and dealers creates a bigger market for large-scale commercial industries and thus; coppers be creating the crime that they supposedly are fighting against.

It's all money, both ways.

Still, very nicely put Budman. A credit at this hour.

they probably found a seed stash as well and counted each seed as a plant.

sounds absurd? maybe, but it wouldn't surprise me. :peace:

heheheh , you could be right Pipeman ,

Nothing's too absurd to not surprise me these days

But as long as its a nice round number ... $25000 , 7000 plants , 400 kilos etc. then I spose its easier for the armchair propoganda feeders to eat it up

I wanna see a 2764 plant raid with a guestimated street value of $137,556.72 or somethin like that ..

Might still be false but the constant rounded numbers are getting boring ;)

:)

P.s. I did hear years ago that they counted each seed as potential plant charge .. but I'm not confident that that is correct. Not sure tho.

3000 plants + 30kg of dried compressed bud, impressive grow looks just like one of the farms busted last year with simular amount.

They put some thinking into the irrigation pumped 100s of meters then branched to the plots, some plants 3m + tall and in very good condition but not flowering from what i saw.

I like the pic of the cops burning the plants while owner was hard at work herding his sheep..

Big operation this 4 plots used on a year to year rotation so grown in same location every 4 years. Much like the other Queensland bust last year.

And a worse type of crime where violence & corruption (the bad coppers best friend) is routinely involved... ..... ......
