(great to see the word "string" mentioned so many times in one sentence .. It rarely happens nowadays it seems .. )

 

Anyway , where was I ... Oh yeah , just fkn Great! .. Mini-Porkchoppers , thats all we need ..

Another good excuse for the police to sit on their arses doing nothing to solve real crime .. or to protect against it ..

But even more seriously .. I think this is still fantasy for the time being .. The technology is nowhere near advanced enough for this to be a viable option for the Police Force .. (for now) ..

As Wdc mentioned , They get their ideas from Hollywood Films , thats not far from a truth .. As Science-fiction has driven Science-reality for decades ..

But in my opinion , I think This type of an "Orwell" like future is still many decades away yet , maybe .. But It is clearly heading this way ..

But I think The younger generations are fully aware of this , so there is always hope for change

When It comes to invasion of personal privacy issues , I think the majority of people are hesitant to accept such proposals .. Well at least I hope so

 

O.k. then , I kinda forgot where I was going with that .. if Indeed I was going anywhere with it at all .. but nevermind No harm done ..

Btw , Sure I think These things could come in handy if the tech. was perfected .. Say for serious Hostage situations , Bomb Threats .. Tall building fires .. etc etc. ..

But for general Patrol and pursuit on the streets , It seems to me to be an impractical approach ..

I would not be suprized if this project wasn't entirely centered around the "Drug Trade" .. I.e. mainly Armchair Radio-controlled Crop-spotting ..

They had them testing these on news a few days ago. The test 1 carrying a life jacket spun around in cicles til it hit the ground, hopefully it stays that way.

I think growers could develop some mini heat seeking missiles............isnt too hard hahahah and position them around their chop hahahaha...........god that would be funny....... daily news report. 15 police minichoppers dissapeared {vapourised haha}..........no know reasons are yet known hahahaha

just remember that google earth is pretty good but(the free version) is not real time and you dont get to zoom in very close. but the millitary versions could pic off a pimple on the back of your neck if you were in your back yard... think about it.. they not gonna give you the tools to do what they wanna do.. as for the hellicopters they were mentioned for brisbane only at this stage it could be years and years before they actually get these things in the air. how ever inferred vision is how they find mj at the moment when they do, as mj gives off a lot of oxygenated heat when grown in the out doors in a crop enviroment. smashed as and off my head when i wrote this, please excuse....

You could bet the second one would be equipped with a deputised rat; that way when you shoot it down you have attacked a police officer; in much the same way attacking a police dog is considered attacking an officer.

 

Kill the bloody thing and you better get yourself a lawyer son; and a damn good one.

 

I can't find it right now but the US police department are currently trialling an Autonomous UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) which makes the subject look like a toy!!!

 

Seriously any outdoor grower would be completely fucked if LEO gets hold of one of these locally.
