naughty plants

Recommended Posts

I've been growing my first indoor plants. Foolishly I decided to encourage them to flower 2 weeks before I went away (for a week) at Xmas. Just before I left, I checked them with a magnifier and couldn't differentiate males and females. 1 week later, I come back and the naughty things have gone and had sex with each other already

I've learnt what I did wrong, and I know what I should've done. But can I salvage anything from this situation?

(I've removed the 2 males, leaving me with 4 flowering females).

I understand I can expect no more than 30% of the potency of sinsimella. I guess I can live with that. But is there anything I can do to fix the situation?

Are pollinated females clonable?

cheers

So you had male flowers open ???

the males had grown at least 8 inches in the week. there was pollen visible on the surface of some of the females' leaves, and there were little cases on the soil below the plants (i'm guessing pollen cases)

i will most certainly carry on. maybe i'll try cloning too, as i've never tried this before

meh, so i have to smoke 4 times as much to get as high... i can live with that

 lol :smoke: :peace: :bandit:

thanks for the replies people

buy a set of bubblebags and make hash....

the seeds should be fine.. just let them mature properly.. until they are almost falling out of thier husks..

there wont be any buds worth smoking... fans in growrooms do a great job to make sure the females get pollinated...

next time you grow from seed... sex them before you flower them...

you could also just prune it back and put it back on 18/6 for a few weeks until it reveges enough to clone... and then reflower it for a seedless harvest...

that sounds interesting. i assume a pretty major pruning would be in order. should i remove all the flowering buds before reverting to 18/6? and can i just cut off the flowering buds themselves or do i have to cut the branches back too?
