Gruntus- Your avatar gave me flashbacks --the old Captain Goodvibes, Pig of Steel--have'nt seen him in over 25yrs - and I see he's still being a naughty pig.

Ta, Frazzle. It was a fairly balanced article after all - the sort of articles one gets in The Advertiser made me assume the worst. My main point of contention is with the ending which implied that if cannabis were decriminalised then SA's billion dollar (largely illegal) industry would suddenly go "up in smoke" (you get the feeling the journalist couldn't wait to slip that in..). This is small thinking at it's best. With the expertise in this state a serious hemp & cannabis industry could be developed that would benefit the local economy and strengthen personal freedom of use (so I'm a dreamer, someone has to be..)

 

Earthbound, yeah I'm also dreaming about a Goodvibes revival (hell, they're making a Freak Brothers feature) but am having trouble convincing his creator (Tony Edwards) that it's a good idea.. I'll keep working on him..

Goodvibes revival!!! Hell yeah. I thought that pig looked familiar. I think Australia is totally ready for the return of the pig of steel.
