Hi All you oz stoner doctors.

If a plant is wilting, but the soil or growing medium is not dry, then it is usually 1 of 2 things.

As the other people have said, it could be overwatered, usually resulting in sick roots which will make it wilt. If this is the case I'd give it a dose of fongarid and reduce watering until absolutely necessary for a while.

The second thing is over fertilising. If it has been heavily fertilised, then reverse osmosis can occur which will cause the water movement to reverse and it will be sucked out of the plant. This is pretty rare though, it would need to be a lot of fertiliser for this to happen. If this is a possibility you would need to give it a good flush, and then wait until its health has returned and it has grown a fair bit before fertilising it again.

G'day Thatswho ,

I agree with what has been said already ... It actually looks quite o.k. tho .. If It's been rainy and dull then It's probly just overwatered and underlighted :toke:

Should come good as soon as the weather improves ...

But If you got your pots out in the rain for a few days that will ofcourse flush alot of the nutrient out of the medium so watch out for that .. once the soil dries out a bit and with some decent weather you can easily replace those nutes :peace:

Sorry if that was too obvious :toke:

But good luck with it anyway :peace:

When you are in a water logged situation the best thing you can do is get rid of the excess water and replace it with oxygen and you need to do it fast because root diesease can get in very quickly in a water logged pot in summer .

How can you get rid of the water that gravity wont move and how can you supercharge the pot with oxygen ...

Get a 20 litre bucket with a lid ,, cut a hole in the lid that the bottom 3 inch or so of the pot will fit in neat ,, then cut another hole in the lid about an inch or so ,,, now put the pot in the big hole and poke the nozzel of your vacumme cleaner in the small hole and turn it on , 20 seconds later a oxygen supercharged pot with excess water in the bottom the bucket .
