When to flower?.

hey,

As long as you started it to flower at 14/10 for 2 weeks then 12/12 for 6-7 weeks you should still get a half or more per plant. You would have troubles keeping many clones from them this way but it is possible. If they get stunted by flowering the yield may be as low as a few grams thou. Heres a pic of sweet widow about 2 weeks into flower, 4 weeks from seed.

How much does a plant strech/grow during the flowering period. I have read that it grows around 3 times the size by the finish. Is this correct?

And how tall should a plant be to get a decent yeild from it? Say six plants at 3 1/2 ft. is there a way of esimating the yeild from them?

Is anyone else having trouble downloading this pic?

In terms of how much it will grow in the flowering period it depends on the strain and whether its an indica or sativa. Sativas take longer to finish and therefore grow more in the flowering period.

Some guidelines for when a plant is ready to flower is when it is producing alternating nodes or at least a foot tall, but as others have said you can really flower any rooted plant.

Obviously the longer you wait the more your yield will be. Your decision would depend on whether you are trying to maximise yield or you are looking for some smoke ASAP.

For average growing conditions a rule of thumb is 0.5g/watt.
