All seedlings died

Recommended Posts

Hi Wf ,

I might be wrong here .. and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong ...

But Plants need nutrients no matter what age ..

The seed has enough trace elements contained within to be able to germinate and sprout .. But they need nutrient to be able to grow further ..

Decent Potting Mix is great for raising seeds ... Or if your using a neutral medium then you'll need to give the plants a mild dose of fertilizer here and there ofc. ..

Anyway , Good Luck with the next ones :applause:

Budman :peace:

(P.s. Good info on the Damp rot .. Did you germinate your seeds before planting?) :toke:

its weird because coco is starting to make me look and feel like an utter noob.

I do remember though now starting in soil and vermiculite, then when i started taking clones and getting into hydro and coco after the hype a few years back. I did a vermacilite, perlite and coco trial for cuttings, and coco did very well. But i never started seedlings in coco now that i remember :peace: ...and yeh ive had nothing but disaster since trying it.

:peace:

WF,

I put this seedling tute together a while ago.. Although ive put them striaght under a 400 .. they way ive done it will work for outdoors as well... its pretty simple...

I dont grow from seed very often... but when I do this is how I do it....

seedling tute

hydroskunk,

what are they in.. soil or soilless??

it sounds as if its not getting any nutrients.. could be a number of things... when plants get bluey green patches its usually down to lack of Phosphorus... what are they being fed?
