aeroponics plans needed

Recommended Posts

Whenever i'm reminded of Aeroponics, i can't help think and laugh, of this bloke on another forum who regarded himself as a Aeroponics Engineer, but not once has he ever finished off anything this way. As he always ran into complications due to pump failures, sprinkler blockages, infestations, etc... :yahoo:

Might be something good to frig around with on the side, but i would never attempt it as my main system until i had at least 6 successful finished crops this way.

Might help, if you could give some more details of how many plants, the size you plan to grow them, and weather you want to grow them scrog, sog or free standing. I've had couple years experience with irrigation where i might be able to help out with pump and sprinkler head type if you get stuck mate.

All the best all the same stagger lee

google "aeroponics marijuana" and you will get more grow guides than you will know what to do with

asking generic questions like this doesn't usually do a lot of good. Get some basic knowledge then ask some specific questions and you'll do much better.

btw, if you don't really know what an aeroponic system is why have you decided its the system for you?

yer i aint got no plans on hand but i built a few aero rigs of various sizes, few more details and can prolly help ya out.

If your talking bout using A rubbermaid i'll assume your working in a small space and therefore runnin the one tub only. best aero set-up for this situation would be a simple up down job. this would mean you have 2 tubs, one stacked on top of the other, rubbermaids usually fit inside themselvs so you'll need to place some boards across bottom tub so top one has something to sit on or build a plastic frame or best if in oz the great aussie crates available from bunnings and hydro stores are built to stack and are lightproof.

Once you got your tubs sorted it's pretty simple, decide on 13 or 19mm plumbing and spray nozzles. cut a hole in the middle of the bottom of the top tub and insert grommet and length of 13 or 19mm plumbing you using attach to water pump in bottom tub and spray nozzle in top tub, may need some screw on attachments for this also bought from hardware or hydroshop. next drill a hole or two of same size for drainage, puttin some sort of filter cap over hole is good and best to attach a small piece of string or chain so water runnin down dont splash too much nor make too much noise.

got a few pics floating round somewhere i'll dig out if your still interested.

peace
