Being a med user, I'm happy to see anyone win a bit of slack with MJ. As for the laws, canada have pretty relaxed medicinal MJ laws. Therefore, I suppose they could have more sway using the human rights act (yes, we all have the same one) than we would trying it in Oz. Wouldn't happen, not yet anyway.

I think It's great that Canada is as tolerant as it is .. I just have anger toward other nations (like ours) that are completely and unjustly intolerant ..

In Canada Medical users do not have to buy from the govenment. They can grow there own if they choose. The law states that up to five Medical users can cultivate under one roof as long as there is less then 30 plants. On your card you have the right to posses up to an ounce on you and up to 5 ounces in your home. However they think shake is worth the same as bud so you have to get rid of your scraps in a hurry.

 

As a side note I do not know anyone who has be caught with under a 1/2 ounce and even got a fine and for a while it was legal to carry small amounts in Canada until the USA threatend to take hostel actions against us
