Police find 1000 cannabis plants

MORE than 1000 cannabis seedlings have been found growing in scrub east of Adelaide.

 

Police said they went to a property about 5km west of Coonalpyn yesterday after a call from the owner.

 

"The owner notified police that he had located the immature plants growing in rows after going to check on water meter readings that appeared to be irregular," a police spokesman said.

 

"A pipe had been attached to the mains water supply with a dripper system set up to water the plants."

 

Police spent most of yesterday removing the 1046 plants, which were growing about 500m from the Dukes Highway.

seems a bit stupid if he was stealing the owner of the properties water strait from his mains, thats a lot of plants to do somthing that stupid with.

I bet the farmers son is pissed off ...................OR maybe the farmer thought HE WAS HOT ,and better blame someone else

If I was the farmer, I would of waited for them to mature then harvested.

 

I would of kept an eye on them with binoculars and then when they were ready, go down at night and harvest.

 

Oh well I guess he wasn't a herb smoker..

i was at a friends yesturday and he showed me an article that is a few years old of 7000 plant bust from north queensland.
