yield per square meter

Recommended Posts

top stuff rockster

im in scrog. but big plants. 2 per sq meter. so long veg. but thats not a problem as i have seperate veg room, ie perpetual harvest

can you tell me what nutrients and additives you use? also what EC you run in early, mid and late flower. thanks

I used to use Canna hydro stuff with hydro and compost. Now I use Anvanced hydroponics suite of ferts.A 3 part mix, nitrogen,a phoshorous and potassium and a micro nutrients mix.You taper off the nitrogen at flowering and up the PK and micro as per insructions on the bottle.I don't really bother with my Ec/tds meter just make sure my ph is always at 6.5. for compost growing.

They got a root stimulator I use which must be like rhizotonic I guess. Also something with humic and fulvic acids in it.

I see no difference really to Canna's stuff and Advanced Hydro's stuff. Both quality but the latter goes further so it wins out on value for me.

One cant say as we all manicure it differentley .Do you trim it down so they are perfect buds bout 50 mm long then weigh it or do does one leave it on the branches ?or does one leave mainly big buds with only the shade leaves trimmed off .

I only weigh mine when it is perfectly manicured and perfectley dried (No buds longer than 50 mm) ,I got 40 oz last grow 2x sunmasters and a tracker (Heavy Duty Fruity) I suppose that was in an area about 1.5 mtrs square(scrog)

Hey frazzle

I used have tried a few strains but nothing compares to H D F every thing said on seed bank sites about it is true .I used Rock bud it still had quite a bouquet about it  I have grow diary but i didnt take pics of harvest . Its a really good stone no paranoia quite relaxing and makes you laugh .It is also incredibly easy to manicure .I have some outside and though theyre not heading yet they already smell like peaches & apricots .I will use R/ Bud on them aswell . I have a carbon filter and it did help greatly with the odour ,next time I will drying in my grow room to prevent the smell.as it still is quite pungent.

Im only a newbie here too, but im pretty sure what your refering to is called a screen of green, or scrog. As the mesh acts as a screen keeping the branches at the same level allowing more even distribution of light.

If you search scrog im sure someone else would have done alot better job of explaining it.

I really love reading this thread, as im in the planning stage of my first grow. I am tossing up between doing a maybe 3 grows throughout the year, or just doing 1 that will last me the whole year.

For one i was thinking 3x1 metre area with maybe 3 600watt Hps. because going by other peoples averages (which i have scaled down because i know i will make mistakes) that should give me and a few close friends more than enough smoke to get me through a year.

Is there anyone else here who just does one grow a year?
