yield per square meter

Recommended Posts

a gram per watt. thats great. i thought it was a myth. ive never been able to achieve it. to be honest i strugle to average 0.75 grams per watt. and thats at 1000watts per sq meter

can you tell us a bit more about your general setup dr rockster. thanks

For sure keepleft. For the yields I am talking about(which should be par for the course, nothing spectacular)

I grow in square 11ltr pots,1 per plant.Cheapo potting compost with approx 10% perlite added. So you've 9 to the sqm under a regular 600w hps.My vent could even be uprated but everything seems ok. I tend to grow strains that have more of a sativa branching structure rather than short squat dense indica bushes. So they end up around 1.2 to 1.4 m max.If I get the occasional one that I can see is gonna go through the roof I just top her to get her in line with the rest.

I've used Canna ferts for years with great, no complaints success.I used their hydro range which I think are fine for compost feeding and in fact when I use more perlite,I mean a LOT more, you are almost semi hydro(I know this can be best done with coco if I'm not mistaken)but I did change last year but not through any shortcomings of Canna but I went to the UK hemp fair last year and was given a full suite of ferts and additives by a guy from Advanced Hydro of Holland and I've been using them and am well happy.Quality plant food is quality plant food really and I could'nt put one above the other save for the fact that Advanced Hydro works out much cheaper as their dilution rates are much higher for the same size as a Canna products bottle.

Our hempfair fair was cancelled last year due to a bunch of spineless wanker execs from the Ricoh co,or a subsid thereeof that was renting their exhibition complex to the peeps doing the hemp fair, namely Weed World magazine.Pulled the plug at the last minute although the local council and police were totally happy on all counts.

Sorry,I digress.......yes! You mentioned you using 1000w per sqm. Fuck! What with cool tubes running?

I see 600 gsm as already getting quite crowded so to expect a kilo out of a sqm is pushing it I think.Would it not perhaps be better to increase your grow area? I'll beat anybody yield wise if you give me 2sqm at 500w per sqm per rather than 1000w in a sqm.

But then again you guys do a lot of screens and nets and and maybe a really nicely trained bunch of girls could absorb that light energy usefully but surely with specialised fan driven light coolers,na?

I can do that with Skunk #1 or Sensi skunk like I'm growing atm or white widow but the SS I've found the best yielder and yay for me as it really helps my back whilst #1 does'nt touch it.Mango is indica but I've grown her 9 to the meter with similar yields.

9 plants, so each is in a 30cm diameter 11ltr pot so its only gotta make 2 1/2 oz.

On a good grow I do get 700+ if I have no problems like losing the occasional top cola or two to mold which does happen with some strains irrespective of your vent.Well ,irrespective of this 'ol hacks vent anyway.

I'm behind on my diary cos my compact flash card has gone walkabout(cant find it)but when I do,I'll post my latest of my nicely regimented(well they were when I last looked)girls.
