Newbie needs advice...

My problem right now is getting a hold of some seeds.

I am having a hard time finding a hook up in my circle of Mates...

 

Once I get something to smoke, I'll hold on to the seeds and give it a go.

 

Just for curiosity in case I get real desperate, where would the best place be to ask some stranger for some bud? I'm in N. Sydney.

My "friends" just aren't interested enough to help me out.  

 

But I'm new, so I can't blame them...

im sorry and forgive me 4 i dont mean to offend anyone but why would you buy seeded dope for in most cases(commericaly)it has come from a hermie and you dont want to take the risk off growing to have your babys go hermie ..waste of $$$$..you r far betta to buy from a reptuble dealer such as spc or ozco and start to grow some primo buds right away not wasteing 2-3 grows with bag seed j mo...

 

for there is nothing worse than the taste of seed thru your lovely tasteing buds................

I wasn't suggesting that I would buy seeded dope, but more along the lines that once I find some dope to smoke, I can probably find some seeds from the same guy... That's all.

Well I finally found some weed through a friend of a friend kind of thing.

 

I gotta tell you though, I'm kind of disappointed.

I moved here from Colorado and I was expecting some good herb. This stuff isn't too stong and I have to smoke a lot of it to get a good stone. It's minty as hell.

 

Now I need to look for a different source so that I can sample some other herb from Down Under. I know there is some stuff around that'll knock me on my ass!!

 

On a side note, I was recently in Canada and took two hits off this joint and the party was over, or just beginning... hehe. I was stoned crazy!!! Good stuff...

weed in Aus is just as good as anywhere in the world, you just gotta know where its at, but my advice is bagseed is shit, Alot of the good buds with some seeds in it will be pollinated by a hermie, just like Whiteskunk said. Why waste time with shit when you dunno if its good or bad, if you buy a strain you can most likely be sure you will be growing decent bud.

And the grower you get the weed off most likely won't have seeds, very few indoor growers grow from seed, most keep mother plants and use clones from those plants.

Ozco and SPC seem OK, but I have never ordered from them cos I think their a bit $$$, For a good cheapish pack of seeds I'd try Serious Seeds 'Bubblegum' they cost $65 Aud from Heavens Stairway Canada, and they are better than many strains I've bought that cost more than twice as much. But clones from SPC would be good for a new grower 'cos you don't have to worry about males and hermies, but yeah,

Don't waste your time with bagseed.
