flowering hermie outdoors right now(4 oct)

ok a few days ago i went and saw my plant for the first time in about a week and a half and it had grow about a foot and a half and i was really really pleased and impressed but i went back just today and found that it has start to flower and is a hermie.

 

Is it odd that it should start flowering in the begining of october?

 

 

also is it possible to cut off the male pods and leave the flowers to grow?

 

 

 

because its flowering out of sink with the other plants i see no harm in growing it because i dont have the heart to hurt a beautiful mj plant more then i already must have to make it turn hermie

 

 

 

P.S. when i got there today not only did i find it being a hermie but i found that either a stiff breeze or a posum or the like felt the need to snap one stem about a foot from the top of the plant and the other about half a foot from the top(i tipped my plant at its third node)
