PROBLEM - Rams Horning

Recommended Posts

yeah pythium causes rams horns because the plants root system is affected so it cant take up sufficient nutes/water to sustain the leaves. the reason i knew it was pyth is i had the same problem last year

bop keep us updated on how the companion and subdue max goes. did u use them together? can u tell me more about them. where did u get them from in australia?

i found some info on them

and they both sound great!

ive just got my hands on this new biotech stuff called messenger. it contains harpin protein and is supposed to be the ducks nuts for things like pythium and fusarium. im going to start applying it as i know that as the heat kicks in pythium is more prevalent.

FUKEN MESSENGER ROCKS THE BOAT.

It is the SINGLE product that I have seen the ABSOLUTE BEST results from using!

Absolutely 100% - if you are not already, yer missing out on free buds your plant would be growing if you were to use the messenger!

Harpin Proteins ROCK! They wont do anything for a pythium infection, but they will jump start your plants.

FOLIAR FEED ONLY!

Peace and Piece!

Send away and get this , it is the best treatment I have seen on Pythium , its called Banrot and if you do your homework you will see that it works better than anything else , I just treated a bunch of Pythium infected plants 8 days ago and they a looking really good now , new root growth everywhere and good turgidity and color in the plants and the rams horns have straigtend out , real good stuff I can tell you !

Good luck

Rod

Forgot to mention I got from here , bought on line had it in 2 days .

Also the 20grm bottle it comes in dont go far , for a recycling system you use 1gm per 10 liters , or alternativly you mix 1 grm in a liter of water and apply directly into the root zone , you can figure what you need to suit your system on those figures .

Those rams horning pics look very similar to what broad mite damage does. Broad mite is almost micropscopic, you won't see without a strong magnifying glass. They are very very tiny mites (nothing like spider mites) that hang under the leaves and chew the new cells as they form causing the distortion. If you still have the problem, get a really good magnifying glass and have a look under the leaves on the new shoots. They can still be hard to spot as they move slowly, just keep looking for movement.
