Raid uncovers home cannabis factory

Recommended Posts

Cannabis plants, which police say are worth about $1.5 million, were seized during a raid on a house in Sydney's west this morning, police say.

Acting on a tip-off, officers executed a search warrant on a home in Wilco Avenue, Cabramatta West, about 7am, police said.

They allegedly found an indoor cultivation system and cannabis plants at various stages of growth.

Police said the no one was home at the time of the raid and inquiries were continuing.

A number of successful raids had been carried out on hydroponic cannabis crops in Sydney's south-west this year, police said.
