Polish woman caught growing marijuana for cow

 

 

 

WARSAW (Reuters) - A Polish woman who grew marijuana to calm the nerves of her cow has been charged with cultivating a narcotic by police in the western town of Lobez.

The cow had been "skittish and unruly" -- once breaking a person's arm -- until someone suggested mixing cannabis in with its feed, the woman told police.

 

"The cow became as calm as a lamb," the 55-year-old woman said, according to the PAP news agency.

 

The woman's plants, grown from seeds she bought at a market, reached nearly three metres (yards) tall and were extremely potent, police said.

 

Marijuana possession is a crime throughout Poland. The woman faces up to three years in jail if convicted.

 

I wonder how she would taste

If it's true it's interesting to hear that cannabis works for calming ruminates.

Certainly works for humans and dogs but not eaten raw so much.

As you say guys,lucky cow but maybe not so lucky woman.Although I'm from the UK I'm the son of Polish immigrants and have been trying to follow the canna scene in Poland.

 

It's not good,not good at all especially as when under the socialist system prior to the USSR collapsing they had really sound drug policy and this would'nt even have got past the cow shed,let alone to court.

Please guys,I'm no commie,it was terrible under the previous regime,I could see that visiting every year but what I'm saying is that now these newly emerging European fledgling democracies are getting established and 'westernised' they all seem to want to look like good fucking members of the UN and the US as they KNOW that at the moment with Bush being this fucking drug crusader if they tow the line on

Yank drug policy,the Bush admin will look favourably on them,particularly in relation to trade.

 

After all we've all seen what's happened in Canada with Marc Emery being targeted by the US although he traded with the full knowledge of the state,paid millions in taxes(And if a govt is taking your tax money surely that's the govt saying:We know what you are doing so pay the tax on it)and yet is arrested and if he had'nt been the Yanks had threatened to slow border security procedures down which would choke Canadian exports.The same threats were applied to urge the Canadian govt do more about the dreaded BC bud or 'green crack' as it's called by that prick John Walters their 'drug czar'.

 

He tries to tell the world that Canada is a fucking national threat cos of pot imports when in fact 3% of total pot in the US comesfrom Canada,the rest mainly grown domestically(biggest cash crop in California)and from Mexico.

 

Oh and they've just put on the statute books the death penalty for supplying over 60,ooo seeds!

You've had quite a liberal culture and then things have seemed to have gone arse about face what with the conservatives getting back in.Please correct me if I'm wrong but we do'nt get a lot of news from Oz to base our perceptions on,especially things canna related.

 

Also,we hear in the UK that the Ozzies vastly favour growing large plants over small sog and suchlike.I grow skunk #1 types at 9 to the sqm with 600w Hps per sqm.Or maybe 4 indica types per sqm.Both produce a gram a watt minimum.But I hear of kilo plants from you guys.Not so bad if busted.Which I was nearly a year ago but I'm up and running.

Yeah; didn't Poland join the EU recently? I guess they have to have agreement with certain EU policies especially on immigration and, thanks to this terrorism thing, security including all border transportation including drug shipments (although this is hardly a transnational drug shipment)! And, the official one is still the UN's drug prohibition policy.

 

At least you can get seeds online in the UK. Not like here in Australia, and they're bringing in drug testing to Queensland soon, which will make life all the less tolerable for me. Well, "drug testing" is what I call it; they call it “road-side” drug testing - as if driving stoned is unsafe.
