GERMINATING SEEDS

g'day;hot water was a tip i got from a north American, is not because i store them in fridge tho.

another tip......if you have fresh seed(freshly removed from buds) that you want to grow out , store them in fridge for 1 week 1st, it makes seed think it has been thru winter and seems to mature them for better germination ratio.( same as tulip bulbs should be stored in fridge until required for planting.)

 

i use old cubes also, never had a problem....you can also burn the cubes in a fire to remove roots of old plants before reusing cubes,cubes are non-combustible!

i like the old and trusted way putting those seeds in soil...

Gday all i put two seeds in a glass off water last week end and they have`nt cracked

 

They infact sunk and had like a light coloured fur around them

 

anybody else had this happen next try i`ll do the moist paper methed
