Recommended Posts

hi

unsure about the burners but are sold at my local.

but had heard or a product alittle while ago that is used to clean sea container ships where food is stored mainly wheat.

basicly a sulfer powder thats mixed into a 20lt bucket of water and it bubbles for 10hours in sealed room when you come back a quick hose off and your sterilisation is done. probally wouldnt be wise doing with plants in room

can only be found at wharfs or wharf workers but was ment to be comming to a grow shop soon that was 24 months ago. very cheep sold by KG and ment to be safe

anybody know what im driveling about maby a name or supplier as it might do a better job on spores than peroxide.

As soon as my summer humidity hit 65% I began to see the very first signs of powdery mildew. I bought a sulphur evaporator for under $200.00 with a 2.5 pound container of sulphur, which would litterally last forever. 3 days after using the evaporator in my 10' X 10' room for 2 hours per night, I can't find the slightest sign of mildew anywhere. I feel that the evaporator is very well worth it. Cleaning up expensive sprays is nasty and not worth it.

I was concerned about the smell of the sulphur while deciding on the product, and to my surprise, there is very little smell. I was expecting toxic clouds of gas, but no way, it's only as bad as one match being lit.

Take the time to put an eye hook in your ceiling, buy a chain and hang the evaporator properly.

I saw a guy using one of these in an Urban Grower episode on you tube.

He was using it to combat mould and mites. UG asked him about the effects of the sulpur on flavour etc. He dosn't use the burner in the last weeks of flower and has worked out the correct amounts to use so as not to effect flavour.
