hello ppl..

 

after growing in dirt for 20+ years thought i'dd give hydro a go.

 

a mate gave me a old double crate kit, that i looked at for a few weeks thinking of a better design,

as i'm used to growing big plants as in 6' to 14' the crate kit is just to small 6 plants so close together,

aint going to give me very big plants, so i'm building this new kit as a 3 pot system should be fine for 6' to 8' ,

plants. i'll be growing outside during summer & in a hothouse through winter as ive been doing in dirt..

 

i do have lights but cant afford to run them. but thats fine as i've never had any problems growing outside

summer or winter. melbourne weather sucks but the hothouse makes up for it

 

need some help on type of nutes to use? i've considered GrowRite or Canna

would allso like to know how much to mix in water for the 50ltr crate as ive been reading on here that the products amounts can be a little strong..

 

i've got a decent pump & will add airstones to the tub, will be using small sprays for the pots.

 

btw the 3 pot kit cost $100 less waterpump/airpump...

Hi,

 

I can highly recomend Growrite for vegitative stage and Budrite for the flower stage for nutrients. I also use a range of Dutchmaster products as well.

 

As for dosage consider consulting the below chart;

btw reading on here ppl seem to like using those little hothouses the 3 vent units for seedlings/clones,

so i got one to try out.. i'm very impressed. i used the small rockwool cubes soaked in water, didnt bother

squeezing out excess, dropped in seeds, mixed up half a tsp of Seasol to 1ltr tap water, poured in just enough,

to cover bottom tray, it sits on fridge during night for warmth with vents closed & put outside in sun during day

with vents open.

 

Seeds popped open in 24hours.. second set of leaves in 5 days. thats much faster than my big hothouse.

first off i would recomend canna thats what i use and have never had a problem at all and the mix ratio can be differant the bottle says 5ml to a lt of res but that alway makes it up abit weak for me but i dont use a 50lt res tank yet so cant really help ya there

 

best bet get a ppm tester and you'll be right on every time

canna seems the go as its cheap enough

 

yes they are a strain of skunk unknown type though came from mate in Ballarat he gave me a thousand seeds ive seen em growing to 12ft

very heavy stone extremely sweet smell & taste

ive got 8 seedlings going will trash 2 plant for cloning. want atleast 30 plants

have a few mates that cant grow so share some with them

not a seller just a smoker
