When we go ahead with the upgrade some of the benifits that members will recive are , * secure pop3 Email address with a choice of "yourname@ozstoners.com" or "yourname@cannanation.com" once you get to the status of senior member and above * For members above the level of stranger your upload limit on images will be lifted to 300kb per image instead of per post for those for those that are members of the 420crew you will have no limit on your image attachments at all * Private and Secure Chat server with 2 individual layers of encryption where none of your info will be displayed to anyone including your hostname as you log in ( unlike the current irc ) * A Secure Tunnel to the website provided to every 420 crew memeber to use for access to the website It will also improve the overall speed of the site which ofcourse is a benifit to us all smile.gif The Totall we have to raise is $1000.00 which will cover us for one years hosting our hope that by nextyear the money we would have through advertsing will mean that we don't need suport from the members and you can all just reap benifits smile.gif How you can help .... * Refer seedbanks or relivant business to us for advertsing* Donate what you can aford to towards the upgrade via cash or paypal* Bid On Future Auctions run on the site to raise funds* Donate items for auction To kick things off I have chucked in $250 dollars myself so far and will be puttign in mroe towards it , which means the total is down to 750 so farWe are by no means saying that we expect members to donate large sums of money like I have done , but every little bit countsso if you can afford to depart with a donation and think it's a good cause then it is greatly apreciated by the Staff here and the memebers that will reap the benifits in the end.those of you tight on money can still very much help us , by mentioning us to a potential advertisers the more advertisers we get the less we need toask of the members themselfs which quite honestly we don't like to do In adition to the benifits that will come with upgrade itself every member that donates over the value of 30 dollars will get themselfs a free 420crew membership for 3-12 months ( dependign on the donation ) To keep everyone up to date I will set up a link at the top of each page where you can check in to see how far we have to go, this will be updated on a daily basis so the info will be pretty much current Please stay tuned for information on how to make donations smile.gif , Any queries or comments should be directed to myself in private or in the thread called Server Donation Q & A under the site feedback section Thankyou to anyone who contributes in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
