I have been through the "bong bus" twice. Both times ripped completely. The second time I had just done my grocery shopping and could see the bong bus from the carpark. So I went back into Safeway and bought some vinegar. Swished/Gargled it and drove through without any worries.

The vinegar neutralises the weed bro!

 

My eyes were soooooooo red and barely open. Thank goodness for sunnies!

Got tested today,waz a bit worried

2 1/2 hours earlier had eaten and smoked weed (a lot a weed)

i couldn't believe it i passed

should mention i just had lunch -baked potato with filling and a coke

think the coca cola would help a little.

have also heard Listerine mouth wash works, not sure

Well considering its been brought up again... My test wasn't while I was driving.. I had just finished work and gone to a mates place, had a few drinks and a few cones, and I was absolutely ripped. My mate spilt the bong water on me, it was pretty funny at the time but wasn't very funny when I ran into transits and pigs with a dog at the train station..

 

I was given a swab test it was the weirdest thing in my life because my mouth was like sand paper how the hell do i get saliva on it.. thats probably why i got let off. Just aditional info, I had a few cigarettes between smoking the test, a can of V and 2 bags of chips.. I was in the process of eating the 3rd bag when I got questioned.

 

Thats my experience and I was scared shitless.

 

My friends experience, he drives stoned and we were coming home from the beach late afternoon (we go there to toke often) and we got pulled over by the drug bus. The cop asked him if he'd had anything to drink and he thought he could get away with humour and hes like i drink every day of my life officer.. no reading on the breathalizer. He was asked to take a swap and he said i've been smoking billies all day officer.. i dont think he liked the jokes very much. i was about to kill him.

 

he got off i dont know how but it happened.

 

my advice would be to avoid the drug testing completely, smoke at home and stay at home, listen to music, watch the footy. if you get the munchies dont drive to maccas ORDER A FREAKIN PIZZA!

I'm in Queensland and thankfully have yet to see this happen either.

I believe they need a dedicated setup, ie it's not something you're likely to get hit with in a random breath test or something.

Also I heard that it's $40+ per test, so they're unlikely to use it unless they have reason to believe it will test positive.

I'd really like to hear answers to your questions!

you got let off because there is no law against being stoned in public, unless you are operating a motor vehicle, well according to border security anyway

hey im in qld ,,a freind is totally straght (pregnant at present)mother on her way to drop kids at daycare was stoped on a back street full off mothers doin the same thing,8.00am mid week in brisbane by norm patroll car and drug tested,,ov she passed as she dosnt smoke but thats what they are doin regardless of the price as we are the ones funding it anyway

 

also another freind smoked a j drove around corner and got pulled over for going through orange light by a patroll car ...tested positive to the swab,and charged so they are useing them in patroll cars in brisbane anyhow ...guess the couch lock stuff is lookin better and better...be safe HM

I was having a big sesh at a mates house, and went nuts on the munchies before leaving to go home.

I'd helped eat a bag of salt and vinegar chips, had a couple of glasses of coke and a little bit of pizza too.

Got pulled over on my way home (probably 40 minutes after my last toke, 10 minutes after eating), and got drug tested due to the officer being able to smell grass on me.

Came up negative, and I reckon it was due to the food and drink. Seeing as the tests do just test the saliva, if your mouth gets 'purged' (with food), I don't see why that wouldn't help.

I got tested another time, and I was absolutely certain I was fucked (I was on the way to the shops to get food, so my mouth was freshly weeded ).

The officer asked if I had any weed in the car (I stunk), I said no to which he replied "Alright, do you mind taking a drug test then?", so I just complied (figured there was no point dodging it, cooperation is usually the best).

Did the test, I never found out the result but the officer came back to my car and just said "Alrighty mate, you should probably just head home now. Take it easy and buy some deodorant "

I have a reliable friend in trucking industry that swears by Original Listerine to beat the mouth swabs.

Of course they are on speed and the like but its still interesting. I keep one of those small bottles in glove box.

I ges the only way to find out for sure is if i get tested?? I dont drive during acute effects of MJ use, i used to

when i was younger and i smoked it, now i only eat it...i always felt fine crusing along a big main road or HWY

but i agree with other posts about busy situations with lights and traffic it can become overstimulating very quickly.

 

I have heard that alcohol will also neutralise the test. If so probably not a bad idea to take a small swig before departing and tell the copper you've not long polished off a rumbo. Might be in trouble at 7am, but you could then tell them you had a very big night on the turps. If you had 30 mls or so you probably wouldn't be over the limit, depending on your body size, very unlikely if they dragged you back to the station for a test.

 

I'd like to get hold of a bunch of them for some testing.
