Thanks for the replies,I realise that we are a small community mainly I want to keep it on page 1 of this thread for newbies and any current member who might suffer this nightmare, and it had dropped back to page 2 so I posted on it. Interesting story about Maccas and the theory of dairy dissolving the drug might hold some weight if Maccas indeed really contains any dairy product in shakes or soft serve ice creams!

I was told of a method the miners use but they administer the mouth swab them selves so it wont work for RCT

because of the cicumstances,and I'll keep my mouth/keyboard shut so as to not ruin in for the miners.I also read on another thread on OzS about vinegar and some commercial mouthwashes but the commercial MW required a couple of minutes swishing to allegedly work so they seem impractical,imagine trying to tell a copper "hang on a few more minutes while I continue gargling and swishing this 'energy drink' officer" Sure !

I've never been tested before but I see the drug bus all the time (I drive around Melbourne all day) and from what I've seen during the day 90% of the time they target truckies. They also like to go block of raves so you have to pass them to get out, thats why there statistics of how many people are driving smashed seem high.

I know two people who have been done for speed but not Herb and if you look at how many people get done for ganja compared to other drugs you would have to come to a conclusion that its not very effective testing for cannabis.

I was working underground this year with random swab testing

Rule of thumb was try smoke only after work as 12 hours seems to be ok to pass next morning

If you had smoked or were worried, a mouth full of ice was suppossed to work

I have only ever failed pre employment piss test though and they suck

I've seen em outside raves and clubs a few times. That's why we park far, far away or catch the train.

I've read in multiple studies that if you haven't had anything to smoke for 2 to 4 hours, the marijuana wont be detected in your saliva. I personally don't drive stoned... I have had mates that do. You bet your ass they wouldn't if they lived in Vic.

Not really relavent but anyway, I know a bloke that claimed he got off a drink driving one by sucking on an alcohol swab (for injections). Apparently it blew astronomically high that the coppers let him go and went back to the station cause they thought it was broken.

Wonder if it was true and if it would work on cannabis tests.

hi i once was teaching my friend to drive i consumed around 6 throw downs i got pulled over,still drinking the last one when he tapped on my window,anyway he had to waite for 30 minutes until the alcohol settled anyway they wand sat in there patrol car and left me and my 4 mates in the car,i red somewhere that if you sucked on copper that the breatherlizers wouldnt put you over the limit,so me and all ive my mates gathered all of our 1 cent and 2 cent pieces and i put them all in my mouth and swished them around for a good 20 minutes,when the cops tested me nothing showed up,i guess it worked

Since they brought the drug testing in for SA, it has been a constant source of paranoia for me. I would say that I had smoked cannabis within a few hours of driving more often than not so I pretty much am always a little on edge about it. But I am yet to be tested.

I have driven past them on a number of occaisions and they were always full. the good thing is is it takes alot longer than alcohol testing so they cannot test nearly as many people, plus in SA there is only two testing teams for the entire state.

I did notice though that it is not random. On each occasion the majority of cars had P plates displayed, were modified "hoon looking" cars or old bombs or they had a mob of youths with baseball caps in them.

Having seen this, I think if your driving a fairly inconspicuous car, then you should be ok.

I personally have never seen one on a weekday.
