No more crap ph meters

I'm sick of dodgy cheap ass ph meters, I've gone through 3 in the last fortnight so I finally bit the bullet and got me one of these babies, I'll be returning the last piece of crap as soon as it arrives

thats a good cf ,ppm meter made in nz top of the range... but you should have gone to ph/cf combo meter its good by bluelab its better and does both things that you need ...good luck with the new meter

I'd prefer a single meter for each PH & EC .. .. .. .. I have viewed simmilar multi tasked TV/VCR & DVD divices the same.

 

Oz tends to favour NZ producs ans they are all good after 3 yrs + use.

Yep I'm the same, I've never liked combo devices of any kind, I always feel like they have to compromise somewhere to have multiple components in the same space as a single one.

Bluelab ph truncheon is about $160-200 at the places i rang in melbourne, u get a little cleaning kit and some spare parts tho

i got the eutech ph meter, its easy to calibrate and has the same functions as the bluelab, except the temperature compensation- $90

$165 is what I'm paying with free shipping. I wish I'd just spent that in the first place rather than trying to save a few $ by buying cheap crap, you really do get what you pay for.

the combo is two separate probes just the same display and no the Bluelab truncheon is not a combo..

The peopel who made truncheon's before bluelab purchased them already had ph wands , and also had combo devices ,

 

Both where taken off the market at the time and they focused on the truncheon meter and a ph probe that perminently sits in the res, I was actually quite suprised when I heard that blue lab had brought them back

 

Personaly I have to agree with most of the people here and say that I belive in the long run your better off with two seperate devices

 

on another note , I have owned a 30 dollar ph pen for 6 months or so now and have not had an issue with it at all , and two other people that come to mind have had theirs for over a year and a bit , provided your carefull and calibrate it regularly there really isn't that much difference in a hanna disposable ph meter and a eurotec one sold for tripple the price
