hows it going im about to start a cannabis crop in my cubord, i was just wandering if anyone could help me with my hydro system, i want to do aeroponic, i bought an ultrasonic fogger, i was just wandering if 1 fogger would be enuff for 4 plants? if not would it be enuff for 1 plant? i was wandering if maybe 1 isnt enuff, if i put maybe a fountain in there and made that turn on every nom and then and had the fogger on aswell would that be better then just having a fountain? any help is much apreciated.

nar the place a bout it from had never herd of using a fogger to supply plant roots with nutrients, i went to a hydro store and he recons i should just use a fountain, and leave it on all the time, but every place i go to on the net says with aerophonic systems you need an accurat periodic timer, would a fountain left on all the time be good enuff? i realy want to use the ultra sonic fogging methode if theres anyone out there that has sucsesfully used this method it would make me feel so much more confident about what i am doing, thnkyou.

http://www.howtohydroponics.com/fogger.html

this is the newest most advanst hydro systems, the roots grow hairs exponentialy increasing the serface of the roots, the fogger makes micron droplets of nutrient solution, and negativly charges them which is ment to be good, but i havent read anywere were it says how many plants you could do with one fogger.

I would say that the fogger would need to be able to fill the root chamber area with fog and if you have more plants then that area would grow to beyond what the fogger can provide.

So do a basic run and see what it does

Oh damm a fogger would replace my bubblers i have below my root zone ....NOT ANOTHER UPGRADE!!!!!!!!

I know someone that ran a small fogger in their DWC set up, the roots were nice and white but they needed alot of maintenance cause of the nute build up in the filter thingy and when the root mass got big it was a problem cleaning them.

I think good for when the plant gets transplanted and the roots are coming through though the net pot, just to kick start them, they love the negative ions the fogger produces

I inherited it and used it to foliar feed in veg which made the leaves really lush, the fog is attracted to the plant and the nutes are forced into the plant apparently.

But, water splashes everywhere, the fog only reaches some plants, you gotta clean it and its just one more timer/power cord to buy and trip over! I just keep it simple and use a spray bottle now!

Everyones different though and maybe you got the patience to figure out a system, I remember people with fogger set ups on other sites so definately possible mate. :scratchin:

Even with a simple hand watered set up, there is enough work just harvesting and smoking to be worried about maintaining a complex GR
