Does anyone know whats causing this. Im using Miracle grow soil. XD The Ph was 4.5 i used hydrated lime to raise it and thats when this started happening. Bottom leaves started to die off first and now the bigger fan leaves are going. I plan on flushing it tonight and repotting in a 5 gallon bucket with some new soil.

hey there s4, i dont know much about it, but if i were you i'd look into the possibilty of nutrient burn. had a friend with the same problem, and he cut back the nutrients (it was a hydro setup, though) and it cleared up soon afterward. maybe the miracle-gro soil is too heavy on the nutrients for the delicate ganja? who knows...

I was just giving it water, the only thing that was feeding it was the shit that comes in the MG soil. i think flushing it and repotting in some compost will do it. Just bought some blood, bone meal, and som all purpose 6-10-10 plant feed. I figure mixing the bone in with the all purpose will provide the nitrogen that the feed lacks.

Hey s4 , Hope your well ,

So its obviously been burnt the fuck out with the Lime , either way too much , or a reaction of it with the ingredients of the MG soil mix. I've never used lime for the PH of Mullies , I don't think I would.

:peace:

Anyway , I reckon you've got it , give it a flush and transplant it into some fresh soil , maybe something different?? I dunno about a MG soil mix , might be good.

:toke:

Someone will know.

Good Luck with it.

I'd look at repotting int4o some3 decent medium (compost) & not worry about 'flushing'. If your thinking of using added ferts go real easy as a decent compost will have plenty for the plants needs.

goodluck :applause:

Just got back from flushing my plants, I flushed with 3-4 gallons of 6.8 ph water. I'll have to check up on 'em in the morning. Generally how long does it take before i'll see some sign of improvement?

@Breeder - yes it was lime for plants but i fear i may have mixed in a wee bit too much.
