G'day Bud_man ,

A change is as good as a holiday they say ...

:peace:

Well , I've got lots of ideas , but I'll just quickly describe something simple , you may know it already

:yahoo:

I used to see a few oldies who would use a glass jar , Its good cuz Its glass Its easy to make and to replace the stem when its filthy if U want.

:yahoo:

Jar bong , Just get a medium size jar , like most normal jam jars , or a medium-large Vegemite jar , something of that size and shape. Then you need 2 lengths of hose/tubing (Food or medical grade is best from what I've heard , but as long you've smoked thru a garden hose stem you wouldn't worry too much).

Basically , you just punch two holes opposite each other into the lid ( o o ) - like that put a length of garden hose as the stem - (push down to the bottom (water) with some sticking out the top (4 conepeice)) , then get some tubing (It should be a little thinner than the stem , but not much , Stick that thru the hole enough and seal , leaving a nice length of tubing hanging out the top (mouthpeice)) :)

Well , that was harder than I thought it would be to explain , but I hope you can make sense of it , and maybe It will bring up some ideas for you :) I'm thinkin an almost hookah type of thing , If you have plenty of sessions with mates a Multi-hose bong can be a bongding experience :peace: Hehehe

Anyway , thats all for now.

Bye , From Budman. :peace:

Hey budman I've seen that done a few times now and it is mainly older people who do it like you said.

I've tried it and quite like it. I've also linked two jars together and made a double chamber like it as well. Then put ice in, mmmm smoooth :yahoo: :yahoo: :peace:

Another thing you might try doing is get a huge bottle 2L or 3L then make your bong out of that with the hose up near the top. You then fill it right up with cold water and you will have a very smooth bong (though don't drop it, you will make a huge mess :peace: )

Are we talking glass blowing here? Or a handyman kinda set up?

When Im looking to make a easy fast bong I'd go with a water Gravity bong constructed out of a smaller soda bottle inside of a larger one.

In case you dont know the design, (I don't mean to offend you by offering these instructions, you could very well be a bongmaster, yaddameen?) you just get a normal size 20 oz bottle of coke and empty it out and take the wrapper off and then poke or cut a couple 10mm diameter holes in the bottle of the 20oz bottle, then fit a bowl on the top, if you have a bowl from a bong then that will work well, otherwise be creative (I don't reccomend aluminum foil although its quick and easy to stick some foil into the neck of the bottle and poke holes in it so smoke can pass through). And make it airtight using rubber glue or rubber bands or something. Make sure the bowl is removable, that is important, you can work around it by cutting a carb hole in the top of the 20 oz bottle and cover it with your thumb when you use it, but it's easier to have a removable bowl.

Then set that aside.

Then take a significantly larger coke bottle, i propose you use a 2 L bottle, then at the top of the bottle where it start to curve towards the neck of the bottle just circumsize the top off, make it so you can fit the smaller bottle within it easy.

Then place the smaller bottle in the larger one and pour water into them untill the 20 oz bottle is resting at the bottom of the larger bottle, with the waterline slightly below the neck of the 20oz bottle.

In order to acheive this, of course, then the larger bottle will have water in it as well, so the waterline is the same.

Essentially, the larger bottle is just there to contain all the liquid, you can use a bucket as well but a 2L bottle is smaller and easier to move around and you can chuck it out when you are done and if it stinks.

Once the water is in, pack a bowl and bring your flame to the bowl, life the 20oz bottle up as you keep the flame right in the bowl, the properties of pressure will cause suction down through the neck of the 20oz bottle, it will draw smoke into the 20oz bottle as the water is drained out into the 2L bottle through the holes in the bottom of it.

Once all the water is out the 20oz bottle will be full with smoke, it will hit really hard f.y.i., but once its full and the water is gone just remove the bowl and clear through the top, or clear though a carb, etc.

Be careful, in some cases the neck will be warm or even hot, so check first, it depends on what material you used to construct the bowl with.

I find these grav. bongs work very well, and the best part is you can throw them away when you are done if you so choose too because the whole construction can be done in less than 5-10 bucks.

That is my suggestion!
