Luke I'm surprised you would write this as you are usually obsessed with technical accuracy.

 

I was saying, rather badly I must admit, that to the market "hydro" is whatever you put in front of someone which is sinse and looks good. It could be grown outdoors or in, It's impossible to truly tell by looking at buds whether they were grown indoors or out, except in the case where outdoor buds which have been pollinated and are in bred sativa lines, and even then you could just be dealing with someone who's never grown before, and produced crap in a cupboard. lol

 

I wasn't actually inferring what I call hydroponics, but what I think you would really define Hydro weed as. (As the buying public sees/believes) People don't see seeded "hydro" crops often, and so associate sinse with it.

 

Despite all that, it is also true that the word 'hydro' is commonly used to describe any strong commercial bud, especially the compact, highly aromatic indica (or indica dominant) strains, regardless of how it was grown.

 

Just saw that, yeah, that's kinda what I was getting at. lol
