Fluro's

Hi,

 

Can i use a fluro setup from sprout to bud? or do i need metal halides as well? What would be the right fluro for an all purpose grow if it can be done?

heya couchy.....you can use fluro from sprout to bud.... so long as you've only gotta micro-space and you dont mind being dissapointed with the results

but if you're even half serious and there's any way you can get hold of a wardrobe then go with a 400w hps or some thing.....you wont regret it

can you reccomend a good hps bulb(s)? im guessing that ill need 2.

couchman you seem a bit confused about what you want to achieve. One post you're talking about fluro then you jump to wanting two HPS?

 

you need to roughly estimate how much bud you want and that will dictate what type of setup you should be aiming for.

 

as a very rough guide these are the kinda yields people get from the following lights

 

3-6 ounces per harvest 250watter

5-10 ounces 400watter

8-15 ounces 600 watter.

 

oh yeah and if you're growing in a small space I strongly suggest you look into those cooltubes. I predict within a few years most indoor growers will be using these things, if not to cope with a small growbox, but to fit a bigger light into their existing growbox.
