Can a Hydro grow be done in 2 months?

It can be done from seed also. Find a fast-finishing strain (random example - Stuporsonic by Sagarmatha finishes in 45-50 days, so 6-7wks) ... veg for 2 weeks, flower for 6-7 weeks. Total time from seed to harvest: 8-9 weeks

 

You can also start flowering almost straight away with some strains - i recently grew a Nirvana AK48, a sativa pheno, i vegged her for only just over 1 week after it'd sprouted then flowered her for 9 weeks (sativa, not a fast finisher) and at the end of the 10 weeks i had just over 5oz of dry bud from just one 600w HPS which i thought was pretty respectable

if you leave the light on for 12/12 through both the veg and the flower stages the plant will mature much more quickly, but as everyone has previously said you wont get nearly as much bud to make it worth it. you may as well leave it to grow for the extra month as youll get 3 times the bud as at 2 months (pending on your growin techniques)...

here we go i finally got around to doing another mini sog.

 

 

 

4 days veg once clones rooted when i planted i thought to myself there is no way the root system is big enough and will the clones grow in the veg period.

 

 

well they didnt really for the 4 days of veg but as soon as the light went 12/12 and roots ball was bigger they took off.

 

 

Now 10days into flower and 50cm tall basicly 5 times the size in 14days.

 

 

8 plants in the 1m2 tray is about perfect i dont know how some sog growers get away with 16 plants per metre squared.

 

 

hopefully can finnish the grow in under 9 weeks, huge contrast to the normal scrog grow taking 3 months.

yeild in the sog wont come close to the scrog though but i should get some footlong buds from the untipped plants.

 

guestimating 1gpwatt for the scrog(NO hormones), and just under gpw for the sog(also no hormones).

Yes it is but you need to have good sized clones plenty of wattage then use SENSA-SPRAY and Rockbud

You need to cut off the side growth to achieve a higher plant density.

cheers xaik am a fan of sog but no fan of doing 10years jail for a 1x light grow. even 9 plants under 1 light scares me alittle. Those last pics wernt the best example bed grown 8 plants in under 50litres of coco just wasnt enough root space yielded just under 1gpw isnt bad for a 90cm x 90cm grow but got tastier buds from the scrog but took alot longer to finnish.

 

heres my latest mini sog 8x pots 1.3m x 1.m 4weeks since planting in first pic even less veg this time only 3 days under flouros from rooting.

smoke in my room doesnt happen yes it does just last week my newest ballast melted the connection plug.. Lest than 12months old so im going to ask for cheep repair or a cheep replacement.
