I am using Water Polymer Crytals soaked with water treated with Holland secert hydro nutes.Placing one liter bottle full in bottom of holes dug with post hole diggers.

Do you think you need another and aditional means of feeding them ?

I am planing on have a 1/2 pc of pipe going down to the one liter bottle full of water crytals,That way I can add nukes and water if the coca shell dirt above (which the plant will be rooting in) starts to sink down.I hope that the rain will be as it was last year then all i will have to add is nukes.

Are they the crystals that expand and hold water when irrigated?.....just made me think of my brother who used water retention crystals (not nutrient ones) in the planting hole, and to our surprise when he watered them they expanded and lifted the plant about 6 inches out of the hole ....obviously he used too many

using those crystals saves alot on watering, but i would be carefull with the nutes, dont wont pH hot spots building up or to overdose the plants, that could end up real nasty

 

be sure to let us know how it goes though, im very interested in seeing your results

Yea hopefully with my mix on nutes I will be Ok .Leave it to the old man I will post results.

How old is the plant? ... over 4 months I presume? ... from cuttings or seed?
